Getting Back

OK, yes I was gone for awhile, but I am back and in full swing! Wow, what a summer in Minnesota!

Fall arrives and the anticipation of meeting someone has disappeared for a moment as the kid thing kicks in and school, sports and work overtake all the moments of wanting to spend time looking or searching for the next adventure. BUT as we settle in, and the routine takes over, the fall breeze, the leaves changing and the romance of the holidays fills the air. OH and of course I still continue to "take care" of myself, that never changes! haha As the dating scene seems to come and go, POF (Plenty of Fish) will not see my face, but I will search the site in hopes of something may seem enticing! Just not that into me?

What is it with this guy?  Let see you leave the country for a month with no correspondence, then to return with a "hi how are you?, I am back" text?  "Who does that?"  What is that supposed to mean?  I wonder what they think?  Do we really just sit at home waiting for their return? And does he think I should!

You text me at 7:15 on a Sunday night to see if I want to hang out?  Who does that?  Can a guy ever make a plan?  Do they really expect to just come over for what? a Booty Call? on a Sunday? "who does that?"  I know for a fact a woman would like to have a man at least set up a plan, what a concept?  BUT because I didn't fall into the "booty" trap, I said no, why?

The Married Man

Really??? What are they thinking?  GET OUT OF YOUR MARRIAGE, if you decide to "hit" on us!  REALLY?? do I want to have sex with you, knowing your going home to your wife, yes I understand you have not had sex in years, NOT MY PROBLEM!  Move along!  I could take advantage of the situation, BUT I don't, why, BECAUSE I CAN!

Plenty of Fish

Is there really "Plenty of Fish" in the sea for all of us "single ladies"?  I have had hits from the most beautiful men, totally obnoxious, not attractive at ALL and the ages have been anywhere from 20 to 62.  WOW, is not one of these men even a little minnow I could attract to and go on a "date" whatever that means?  

If I do go on a date, do I have to "do it", as much as the bullet is satisfying my everyday demands, yes we all know how it is nothing like a nice body to keep us warm as the touch consumes our bodies!  BUT I don't want to have to see this minnow grow into a super shark, just keep a "bucket" of minnows for my pleasure.  The Shark will come and when he does all the minnows will get eaten up!  Remember, Because we CAN!  

Ending

Yes, as we date in our 40's we will always have the wonderful beginnings, then of course we have the endings.  Don't you love the first dates, the kissing and just the getting to know one another is so intense.  BUT and there is always a BUT, something doesn't feel right, you know it, you feel it, but we stick it out until we hear from everyone around us to "give him up", "really you are way to good for him."   Oh alright, so we end the relationship, even though I am not quite sure we call it a relationship, more like just someone who fills some sexual need or one satisfaction we haven't had for awhile.  However, we realize our friends are right and we end it.  It is never easy, I don't care if it is 1 month or 6 months, there is still a part of us that yearns for something.  Because obviously we attracted to this person for a reason, now we know it is Done.  Hard to swallow for a moment, then we move on!  BECAUSE WE CAN!

Toys???

As I have stated before, I have had more orgasms in my 40's than in 40 years!  SO, I thought I deserved to buy a new "toy" for myself.  Have you gone to the sex party's?  Or ordered from the catalogue?  Well I just did and I am looking forward to using my new "turbo" bullet, it not only has extra "covers" to use, such as ribbed for "my" pleasure, but it also takes 3, may I repeat, 3 AAA batteries!  I can't wait to try it out!  I was also introduced to a "roll on" seduction scent, so I will see if that works with my current relationship.  I will keep you posted as I continue on my journey of fun sex toys!  Remember, my motto, BECAUSE WE CAN! :-)
