Honesty

OK we all know "honesty is the best policy"! Why is it that some men will continue to deceive without incident? Why do they feel the need to lie? To get laid? Where does the dysfunction come from? A friend of mine fell for a man who continued to lie and deceive until the bitter end. She wanted to believe him until she caught him as they say "red handed". By the way does that mean, "blood on your hands"? Anyway, she was broken up, but really knew in her heart all along he was deceiving her and felt it for a long time. So what is our dysfunction to continue to not stay true to how we really feel? We stay because we want to "trust"!
